Sheffield's home for pre-1985 British iron — ridden, restored, and argued over.
The club
We're a Sheffield club for people who own, restore, and ride British motorcycles built before 1985 — BSA, Triumph, Norton, AJS, Velocette, and anything else with a proper soul. We meet monthly at the Cocked Hat, head out into Derbyshire and the Peaks when the weather's half-decent, and put on an autumn show where members wheel out their best work.
We argue about magneto timing, lend each other tools, and have rescued more than one seized engine between us. If you've just bought your first classic and you're not sure where to start, you've found exactly the right people.

Four things you can count on at Classic Iron MCC.
Our classics aren't museum pieces — they earn their keep on the roads of the Peak District.
Between the membership there's a century of know-how on carbs, electrics, and stubborn gearboxes — and nobody guards it.
Seized engine, missing part, mystery rattle — someone in the club has fought it before and will happily fight it again with you.
Concours restoration or oily rat with a rebuilt bottom end — if it's pre-1985 and British, it's welcome.
