A weaving and textile arts guild meeting monthly in Bradford — beginners and decades-deep weavers alike.
Come to the next meetingWho we are
We meet once a month, a ten-minute walk from the streets where the Victorian wool trade made this city. We weave, spin, dye, and generally get very absorbed in anything involving fibre.
Some of us bought a first rigid heddle loom last month; some have been at the tapestry frame for decades. Heritage or contemporary, it doesn't matter — if you like making things with your hands, you'll fit right in. No gatekeeping, ever.

More than a meeting — it's a roomful of people who understand why you have that much yarn.
A friendly Bradford session each month with looms out, wheels spinning, and someone always happy to untangle your problem warp.
Guides, demonstrations and patient advice on weaving, spinning and natural dyeing — from first heddle to fine tapestry.
Our annual pilgrimage north for fleece, fair isle and ferry views — genuinely not to be missed.
Tea, biscuits, and conversation with people who'll never ask why you need another loom.
Practical know-how and a bit of local heritage, written by members for members.

A guide to splicing, tying on and dealing with broken threads mid-project.
