Who's behind the secateurs
It's just me — and that's the point
I'm Dave Okafor, and Roots & Shoots is a one-man business covering Sevenoaks and west Kent. When you book me, you get me — the same person every visit, who knows which of your roses sulks in shade and where the bindweed tries to sneak back in each June.
I trained with the RHS, I'm fully insured, and I do things at the right time of year — pruning when the plant wants it, not when the diary's empty. Most of my clients have been with me for years, which I reckon says more than any advert could.
How I work

Right plant, right time
Pruning, feeding and planting follow the horticultural calendar — not convenience.
The same face every visit
No rotating crews; I learn your garden and look after it like it's my own.
Everything tidied away
All green waste goes with me, so the garden's left looking better — not buried under clippings.
Honest advice
If a job isn't worth doing, or can wait a season, I'll tell you straight.
