Seamstack

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

By using Seamstack (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

About this service

Seamstack is a managed platform that enables community owners to build and operate their own digital home — including content, forums, and shops. We provide infrastructure, tooling, and support; you own your community, its content, and your members' data.

As a community owner, you are the data controller for your members' personal data. Seamstack acts as your data processor under Article 28 of UK GDPR. By using this platform, you enter into the data processing terms set out in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process your members' data and for communicating your own privacy policy to them.

Accounts and subscriptions

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Free trials run for the period stated at sign-up. After the trial, a base subscription fee applies as disclosed at sign-up — no hidden charges. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through the service. By using the service, you grant Seamstack a limited licence to host, serve, and display your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim any other rights over your content.

Intellectual property

The Seamstack platform, branding, and software are owned by Seamstack and may not be reproduced or reverse-engineered without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Seamstack is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of service. We provide the service “as is” without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
